Guy Fieri was the talk of the town after The New York Times published its scathing review of his new Times Square restaurant. However, the much-discussed critique was not deemed worthy enough to get him — well at least a version played by Bobby Moynihan — to the final cut for air on the recent Saturday Night Live hosted by Jeremy Renner.

In a sketch taped during the dress rehearsal and posted by NBC on Monday, Fieri is initially excited that the paper even reviewed his eatery — that is, until he reads it. "I've never felt sicker in my life," he says, adding that he never thought the Times would like his restaurant. "Did they think they would like it? I wear flames on my shirt and I don't bleach my roots. That doesn't exactly scream haute cuisine. ... The New York Times reviewing my restaurant is like Architectural Digest reviewing a college dorm."
