Dave Navarro is going to make beautiful music on Law & Order: SVU, but as a sound engineer instead of a musician.

The Jane's Addiction rocker is set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of the NBC procedural, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Navarro, 45, will play a sound engineer named Ferrari who is a part of the entourage for one of hip-hop's rising stars. Ferrari witnesses a crime, but refuses to rat out his friend.

Navarro recently guest-starred on Sons of Anarchy.

Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
