Covert Affairs star Piper Perabo — whose character finally shared a kiss with Auggie in the season finale of the USA spy drama — has landed a major role on Go On as a new love interest for Ryan (Matthew Perry), Deadline reports.

The Golden Globe nominee will play Simone, a former member of Ryan's therapy group who returns to the group and forms a relationship with the grieving widower. Perabo will appear in three episodes of the freshman comedy.
This is the second high-profile love interest for Perry's character. Parenthood star Lauren Graham played Ryan's college friend Amy in an episode last month.
In addition to her starring role on Covert Affairs, which was renewed for a fourth season, Perabo is known for her roles in Coyote Ugly, Cheaper by the Dozen and Looper.
Go On airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
