MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) An unofficial Starbucks fan site is reporting that some Washington State chains have debuted a video drive thru ordering system.

StarbucksMelody.com has images posted to its website clearly showing the Starbucks employee on video while the customer is ordering.

Local 15's Taren Reed ventured out to see if local Starbucks had heard of it or were considering doing the same thing.

We found that some local Starbucks already have a video ordering system, but it's not quite the same as what StarbucksMelody.com is reporting. There is a video camera inside the intercom so the barista can see the customer, but not the other way around, the customer cannot see the barista.

So next time you drive up to order, be on your best behavior. Someone is watching you.
