Protein smoothies are all the rage in the fitness industry, but if you've never made one you probably don't know where to start. It's easier than you think and a great way to supplement your diet. We whip one up in this week's Workout Wednesday.
Here are the ingredients in Cindy Ross' Fit For Life Smoothie:
1 scoop of whey or soy protein powder
Handful of blueberries
1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt
A dash of cinnamon
1 packet of stevia
1/3 cup of almond milk
1/3 cup of water
1/4 cup of old fashioned oats
1/2 cup of ice cubes
Optional 1 tbsp of peanut or almond butter
Combine all ingredients in a blender or Magic Bullet and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
