Incorporating fish into our diet is a great way to get our daily dose of protein -- without all the fat. But for some of us the fishy flavor just isn't our favorite. In this week's Workout Wednesday, Cindy Ross of Bodies by Cindy shows us a super simple recipe that's mild enough for even the pickiest eaters.
The recipe begins with four tilapia filets and a non-stick pan or baking dish. Coat the pan with cooking spray.
Drizzle the filets with a few teaspoons of melted butter spread. Slice a lemon into quarters and squeeze lemon juice over the fish.
Follow with salt and pepper to taste, garlic, chopped or dried parsley, and the key ingredient-- grated parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
Each filet contains about 29 grams of protein, which is a great way to hit our daily protein goals without overdosing on fat and calories.
"It literally takes about five minutes of preparation," says Cindy. "Throw it in the oven, 30 minutes is what it takes to bake, and then dinner's ready to go."
