Just the thought of Thanksgiving dinner can be stressful for many working moms. Many have to work up until the day before Thanksgiving and then slave over a stove all night. One restaurant owner and cooking school instructor says the key to a successful no stress dinner is not to try to do it alone.Robin Lea makes a living cooking large meals for others. As owner of Bayside Cafe, she also teaches others how to have fun preparing great meals, even the youngest members of the family.
"You can let them make place card settings," said Robin Lea.
Robin says it's best to plan ahead when you're preparing a holiday feast. Give everyone an assignment and you're sure to have a less stressful, more thankful dinner.
"Plan the day before what the children will do, what the adults will do. When everyone in the family has something to do and gets involved it's a fun time together.
and if you want to cut down on the amount of cooking...
"There are many places you can buy premade sides or instead of a whole turkey buy a turkey breast."
Remember the most important part of thanksgiving is just being with family and friends and appreciating your blessings.
