(Mobile, Ala) Sept. 29th-There are lots of people in Mobile who feel like they've got the flu right now some do and some don't. We checked in with Dr. Dwight Yoder at Pediatric Partners on University Boulevard.  He says some kids just have a cough and fever, but right now his flu cases are tapering off. In fact, he describes it all as a temporary "lull" in the storm of cases.

But, that doesn't mean you need to put away the tissue. Further West, Dr. Darren Waters, Medical Director at Greater Urgent Care, P.C. on Schillinger Road says he has several cases of seasonal flu -- along with strep throat. Also, several of his patients have fever and are feeling achy. Sinusitis has also popped up in his office in the last week.

In Tillman's Corner, Doctor Dee Dee Kidd at Mobile Family Care still has a lot of people suffering with summer colds.  There are also occasional complaints of stomach viruses.

Further North in Saraland, strep throat is also showing up in doctor's offices. Doctor Mark McDaniel says upper respiratory infections and complaints of nausea and vomiting --pretty prevalent there as well.

Doctors say people are getting sick because school is back in session and children are spreading the germs. Remind your children to practice good hand washing with an anti-bacterial soap.
