(PENSACOLA, Fla.) - Two Pensacola police officers are on paid administrative leave after a shooting incident Thursday afternoon.
Police Chief Chip Simmons says two male suspects were shot after refusing to cooperate with police and trying to run over the officers in a stolen vehicle.
It happened around 12:45 p.m. on Whitney Drive in Pensacola..
The two suspects are in the hospital.
Officers Patrick Bradley and Justin Roedel are on paid administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates. Chief Simmons says that’s standard procedure.
