(MOBILE, Ala.) - Mobile Police have arrested a suspended Murphy High School student they say came on campus Wednesday morning carrying a B.B. gun.
According to Mobile Police, students quickly alerted the assistant principal about the gun when they saw it.
The assistant principal detained the student until police arrived.
He was later transported to Strickland Youth Center charged with trespassing but not for the B.B. gun.
Police say B.B. guns are not considered a firearm.
