Ala. Woman Killed in La. Wreck

VILLE PLATTE, La. (WPMI) - Louisiana State Police say a 53-year-old Alabama woman is dead after a collision with a tractor-trailer.

Trooper Stephen Hammons says Donna Saenz of Sampson, Ala., failed to stop at a two-way stop sign on Louisiana Highway 365 and Louisiana 35 in Acadia Parish. She was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a hospital Saturday.

The crash remains under investigation.
