(MONTGOMERY, Ala.) Seven Montgomery Public Schools employees have been put on administrative leave in the wake of an investigation into improper grade-changing.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports allegations of improper grade altering led to two probes involving a state and county education boards over the past two months.

The investigation revealed 200 students from three high schools - Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Sidney Lanier - were impacted by the changes.

Officials say the unidentified employees may face disciplinary action, including termination and losing their teaching certificates.

The newspaper reports in some instances, teachers were pressured by administrators to make the changes.
