An As Seen on TV Hands free Toothpaste Dispenser, called Touch n' Brush claims to work with any size tube and secures easily to any surface without any tools.
The makers say there's no waste, and it promises to use toothpaste down to the last drop. Local Dentist, Dr. Glenn Porter was ready to examine our product. He says brushing is vital to dental health, and toothpaste must be handy. "You get to the end of it and you squeeze it to the middle and you waste a lot, a lot of times you don't want to put the cap back on, I'm one of those," says Dr. Porter.
The commercial say the product's secret is its vacuum force. It works as the toothbrush pushes the pump arm, then the vacuum force pushes fresh toothpaste, back to from the tube and dispenses it right on the brush. The directions say it goes up quick. First, place the suction cups, then, put your favorite toothpaste into the bin. Finally, you slide on the cover.
Dr. Porter and his dental hygienist wife, Sandy, went to work. "We'll see if it pulls the sheet rock off, yea the sheet rock may come with it," says Dr. Porter. Following instructions, this dental family had it on the wall in 2 minutes. "I was thinking it was gonna take a while to get it all put together, I don't like to read instructions, but it went together quick and easy, whether it stays on the wall that's another question because it's held by suction cups," says Dr. Porter.
The product guarantees to dispense the exact amount of toothpaste in just 1 second. Here's Dr. Porter's attempt at hands free. "Now I think we push it, yea, hey, it works, actually it's a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be," says Dr. Porter.
In your opinion is this a deal or dud? "It's a deal," says Dr. Porter.
