Do your shoes hurt and give you blisters? Are swelling feet making your shoes too tight?  Stretch Genie Solution, is a new As Seen on TV product that claims to have the miracle solution to stretches your shoes to the perfect size.  The makers say all you have to do is spray and it can take your shoe width from an A-B to a C-D.  The commercial says that the special formula instantly relaxes the shoe fiber, so when you place your foot inside the shoe, it stretches and expands to the perfect size.

Lori Bender owner of Mobile Shoe Hospital knows about expanding widths, and stretching soles, she works on thousands of shoes and wanted to test it out.  Her first order of business was the spray.  "You can spray it on the outside or you can spray it on the inside to get a stretch," says Bender.  She liked what was in the Genie solution.  "It's basically the same that we use.  It's an alcohol base, it dries quickly it's fine," says Bender.

But there was more to test.  The Stretch Genie comes with expanders.  Lori tried them out.  "When you put it to the smallest, all you're doing is pulling this out, and your not getting anything in the toe where you need it," says Bender.  Lori believes the old fashioned devices which you can still purchase work much better.  "You can put it all the way to the toe.  They come in various sizes.  You can get the amount of stretch where you want, it's easy," says Bender.

She thought the expanders were impossible.  "They're hard to put in, you can't get your hand and this in the shoe at the same time," says Bender.

In your opinion is this a deal or dud? "A dud," says Bender.

The product will cost you $10 dollars.
