(MOBILE, Ala.) - In this week’s Deal or Dud, we tested a new shaver, the Microforce Wet and Dry Shaver, that’s so small you can carrry it in your pocket. It promises to give you a smooth shave in the shower or on the go.

This new cordless raxor is shorter and narrower than a credit card but still gives you two shaving surfaces.

The makes say you can use it on the go, anywhere and anytime.

We met up with a local barber to find out if it could give a clean shave.

William Dotch, owner of Dotch Barber and Style in Mobile, has used dozens of razors throughout his career.

It's a tool, this licensed barber has used to trim, cut, clip and shave with hundreds with for half a century.

He worked us in to try it out on one of his clients.

Dotch tried the dry shave first.

He said “ I really enjoyed using the razor, it's very convenient, it's compact, and it did a good job.”

Then came the real test, does the razor hold up when it’s wet.

Williams said “it feels good, but as she says it's not cutting anything. The beard being wet, the razor does not having the power it would have if it were electric, it wasn't able to cut the beard.”

When we asked him if this product was a deal or a dud, he repllied “dud.”

The product costs 8 dollars.

We’ve made several attempts to conact the company and have not heard back.
