(MOBILE, Ala.) - The pain-free and cream-free Finishing Touch personal hair remover promises to erase unwanted hair instantly and painlessly. But does it really work as well as it claims? LOCAL 15's Lindsay Bramson puts it to the test in tonight’s Buy It and Try It.
It claims to be good for your chin, ears, and even sideburns. And that's exactly what Mobile County Commissioner, Mike Dean, wanted to try it on. He said, "hopefully it's gonna work out in some of the places I wanna touch up."
Running from meeting to meeting, Dean doesn't always get the chance to shave. "Being in the public eye, people look and judge you and with this high definition tv now a days, you need to make sure you look your best," said Dean.
Claiming to be powerful enough to remove even the thickest hair anywhere, we decided to buy it and try it. "Naturally the older you get, hair starts growing just about everywhere," Dean said. He added, "mainly around the ears, the eyebrows and back of neck."
"Now, it's time to start trimming, I'm gonna do the nose first and trim that up," said Dean.
The Finishing Touch also comes with a light. Mike Dean said, "If you wanna touch up, this is the best thing you can get on the go and travel with it to the beach and other places like that."
