There are so many people I know who are sitting on the edge of their seats right now, waiting to see if democrats and republicans will come to some sort of agreement on a budget for this country.  People I know who are nonessential government workers, are wondering if they will be getting a paycheck in the next few weeks.  We are in a very fragile state right now.  The slightest move could make or break the financial situation in this economy.

Just about all of us were affected in one way or another by the housing market.  When I moved here to Mobile, it took nearly three years before my home in Huntsville sold; talk about sweating bullets and tough times!  When it seems we've gained a little bit of footage, now this.  People have to spend to stimulate the economy. No one wants to spend if we don't know if we will have a paycheck next week.  Lawmakers need to stop fighting, if they have to work around the clock, the American people deserve more.  We need to all be shouting and putting pressure on lawmakers to come to some sort of compromise that's going to benefit everyone.  We know everyone want be happy, but at least fewer people will be without work.

Here she's gone and said the same thing again tonight, Kym Thurman, that Social Security checks won't go out if we don't raise the debt ceiling. She's obviously unable to think for herself and just spews out what the nut in the White House says, which is nothing but lies. I'm not watching this news channel ever again because it definitely can't be depended upon to tell the truth. Our country is down the tubes if more people don't wake up and do their part to defy what the democrats are doing to this country. If anybody is up to the task, start by joining the local tea party, commonsensecampaign.org and also the national tea parties, no charge for those, only contributions if you want. They send information daily including petitions to sign, which they send to the congressmen and women, as well as phone numbers and addresses to write and call. I am doing it and am amazed at people I know who won't do anything but gripe about the state of affairs in this country and not act. Some good national tea parties online are theteaparty.net, tea party nation, Patriot Action Network, Teabook. If you want to do your part, you'll join these and sign the petitions and call the members of congress demanding they do what's going to save our country.

Yep! It was Kym Thurman that said Social Security checks wouldn't be sent out if the Government doesn't raise the debt ceiling. She is 100% wrong and she is spewing the same fear rhetoric that Obama spews. The funds for Social Security and the Military paychecks have nothing to do with the debt ceiling. That is the way Liberals and Democrats operate, they lie and say things that aren't true to scare people into getting their way.

I am livid that on last night's newcast the newscaste said if an agreement isn't reached on the debt ceiling, that Social Security recipients won't receive their checks. That is a blatant lie. If anybody listens to the other side, the Republican side, there is money set aside for that and for military pay. This is as one-sided as it gets and I'm tired of you mainstream media reporters only reporting what that idiot of a president says. He has done nothing but lie to us from the minute he came on the stage to run for the office. Why would anybody believe anything he says? Start reporting both sides, not just the liberal side, which is afflicted with severe mental disorders.
