I'm sure you are as horrified as I am, to hear the details of what police are calling the gang rape of two 14 year old girls in Monroeville. It makes me cringe to even have to report this story, and although we try to warn viewers that the following details are disturbing, it does little to prepare anyone for what police say happened. As Local 15's Andrea Ramey reported today, one of the 14 year old girls says it was ALL consensual. This poor child admitted on camera she and another 14 year old called the 2 older teen boys and a 20 year old man to have sex. What happened next left both girls bleeding, one of them required surgery in a Mobile hospital.
There is no such thing as consent with a 14 year old girl. These children are lost, and will never be the same again. As for the 3 males police say were involved, they are in a world of trouble. Consensual or not, sex with a 14 year old girl is rape. All three have been charged, and police say more charges my be coming.
The entire story turns my stomach. I feel so sorry for those lost girls.
