(Mobile, Ala) - October 13 - There are several websites out there that help explain this transition to digital TV.

Let's explore www.dtvtransition.org.

It starts with a brief explanation of the upcoming changes, including an ever-changing countdown to the beginning of this digital age.

The left-hand column is packed with information ranging from the government coupon program to the benefits of DTV, to how to install a converter box.

But here's what captured my attention.

Click on the the DTV quiz.

It will ask you a series of questions that will explain exactly what you need to do by February 17th.

For example, do you have a digital television?

If you don't know, www.dtvtransition.org will tell you exactly what to look for in determining if you have an analog or digital tuner.

It will also confirm that the switch will not affect any TV's hooked up to cable or satellite service.
