LOCAL 15's Tessa Savoy is no stranger to WPMI, she's been working behind the scenes since 2005. Her love of reporting pushed her in front of the camera, and now she's a general assignment reporter for the station.
Covering news is Tessa's passion. She got her start in her hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana, reporting for a Cumulus cluster of radio stations. Tessa covered everything from local politics to education. She later added "radio anchor" to her resume, but she wanted more . . . television!
In October of 2005, Tessa took a risk. She quit her radio job and moved to Mobile, Alabama, accepting an entry-level news position at WPMI. Her decision paid off!
