Tami Brehse joined the Local 15 news team in October 2011. Born and raised in Port Charlotte, FL, she is thrilled to be back on the Gulf Coast. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications.
Before moving to Mobile, Tami was a reporter at the ABC affiliate in Grand Junction, Colorado. There, her reports helped expose two local doctors charged in the deaths of multiple patients. She also investigated a local sheriff's office for refusing to comply with federal drug policy.
When she's not reporting, Tami enjoys cooking, working out, relaxing with a good book and of course, watching SEC football. If you have a great story tip, she'd love to hear it.
