(BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala.) Jan. 23 -- The body of little Hannah Luong was expected to arrive back home from Louisiana Wednesday night. Meantime, a funeral for the four children is scheduled for this Saturday in Bayou La Batre. NBC15's Andrea Ramey reports the family is counting on a lot of community support.
Funeral arrangements for the four children are tentatively set for Saturday at the Bayou La Batre Community Center. There's a private family visitation at 8 a.m., a visitation for the general public viewing from 9 until 11 a.m., then that will be followed by a public funeral at 11 a.m.
There will be a special "Thank You Dinner" on Saturday night to honor all of the search and recovery crews who worked so hard to find the children.
NBC15 viewers are also expressing thanks to the searchers and rescue crews.
