(MOBILE, Ala.) March 13 -- A jury for the capital murder trial of Lam Luong has been selected. His trial is set to begin Monday morning. Luong is accused of throwing his four children off the Dauphin Island Bridge last year.

Last week, he admitted to the killings, but changed his plea to not guilty this week.

Lawyers had to go through more than 150 potential jurors. A jury of 12, plus four alternates were selected at Government Plaza Friday.

The jury is made up of 10 men and six women. The jurors were asked about their views on the death penalty and if they'd already made up their minds in the case.

"We've been through a thorough process to make sure these members of the jury can be fair and impartial," Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson Jr. said Friday.

Half of the jurors are African-American. No on of Asian descent was chosen to serve.

The jury will not be sequestered meaning they will not have to stay in a hotel. The judge did instruct them not watch, read or listen to any local news.
