WEATHER SUMMARY
Cold rain earlier today mixed in with a few snowflakes in Greene, George & Clarke Counties. Unfortunately, we did not have any snowflakes stick to the ground. This afternoon a Wind Advisory is in effect until 6pm. Daytime highs will reach the low 50s. Expect a blustery, raw day as a tightened pressure gradient will allow for wind speeds to increase and winds could gust up to 39mph. Overnight, temperatures fall to freezing.
We wrap up the workweek with lots of sunshine with highs in the mid 50s. Over the weekend temps will modify slightly with highs in the mid 60s. An arctic blast is set to invade the region early next week. By Tuesday morning we'll wake up in the upper 20s with mid 20s north of town. Otherwise, expect rain-free weather through next Wednesday.
