Sunday morning was frigid: 27 degrees in Mobile & 32 degrees in Pensacola. It hasn't been this cold since December.
Thankfully, tonight will not be as cold, but it'll still be chilly with lows in the mid-upper 30s & low 40s. We can thank a southerly wind for the relief from the cold. As a ridge of high pressure moves away, the prevailing southerly wind will lead to not just a warmer morning for Monday...but a warm afternoon with mid 60s. This warm-up will be ahead of our next storm system that won't arrive until Tuesday morning. However, clouds will increase throughout the day on Monday... with isolated late night showers possible.
The best chance for rain comes after midnight leading into Tuesday morning, and some strong storms are possible. There will be a slight cool down by midweek, with another chance for storms by Friday.
Take Care,
