It appears we are transitioning back to the weather pattern we experienced around the first of the year. Skies will remain mostly sunny for the next few days with highs in the 70s Thursday and Friday afternoon. Low temperatures will be warmer, in the 40s and 50s. A cold front will move through by early Saturday bringing slightly cooler air for Saturday, but it will still be a nice day for the Senior Bowl and for Mardi Gras parades scheduled through the day.
The weather pattern will begin to shift with more humidity, clouds and warm temperatures for next week. Highs in the 70s are expected Monday through Wednesday. An onshore flow will bring areas of fog again during the overnight hours, and temperatures at night will barely fall below 60 by mid-week. Our next best chance for rain will likely not arrive until at the earliest, Wednesday.
