Warm Weather Continues

We're in a warm pattern as the Southeast sits under an upper level ridge of High Pressure.  At the surface, a SSE flow out of the Gulf of Mexico will prevail for the next day or so...pumping in warm/moist air.  So, this means it's going to remain unseasonably warm with mid 70s dominating thru at least Tuesday...plus, daily rounds of early morning fog can be expected.

However, by Wednesday...the pattern will change as a cold front moves across our area.  As the front moves by, storms will develop ahead of & along it...and some of those storms may be strong to severe (but we're going to continue to monitor that threat). Regardless, Wednesday morning looks stormy...with improving weather by Wednesday afternoon as the front moves east.  Much colder air will also filter into our area in the wake of the front...with 30s expected by Thursday morning.  As for now...next weekend looks dry with temps holding close to average.

Enjoy your Week!
