OVERVIEW:
The weather will stay mostly unchanged through this weekend. Partly to mostly cloudy warm days and mild nights are expected both Saturday and Sunday. The last warm day will be Monday before a strong cold front arrives bringing much cooler weather for the middle part of next week, along with a decent chance of showers and storms Monday afternoon and evening.
THIS WEEKEND:
Saturday and Sunday will again be warm with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy and it will remain humid. An isolated shower will be possible east of I-65 in the morning Saturday then again late Sunday across western sections as a cold front approaches. Lows will fall to around 60.
MONDAY:
Showers and storms will become increasingly likely as a cold front approaches the region. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with some of the storms but widespread severe weather is not expected. Temperatures will reach the 70s in most areas before the front arrives, then fall into the 50s by evening. We will see readings in the 30s and 40s by Tuesday morning.
TUESDAY - THURSDAY:
Tuesday will be chilly with highs in the 50s in most areas. A breezy north wind will make it feel cooler. Rain will move out early in the day but a few clouds may stick around across eastern sections through the afternoon. Tuesday night will see temperatures west of I-65 fall well into the 30s, possibly near freezing in some spots and east of I-65, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s to the 40s along the beaches. Wednesday will again see highs in the 50s to around 60. Wednesday night will again be cold with lows in the 30s. Thursday will see a rebound with highs in the 60s under mostly sunny skies.
