WEATHER SUMMARY

Expect lots of sunshine today as we wrap up the workweek with highs reaching the low 70s.  A weak front swings through just after lunch bringing with it a few stray showers.  In the wake of this front, it will be a little cooler.  Tomorrow morning we wake up in the mid 40s with daytime highs reaching the upper 60s.  Increasing clouds come in on Joe Cain Day, with maximum readings in the lower 70s.  Sunday night, rain becomes more widespread, with storms ramping up as we head into Monday.

Lundi Gras promises soaking rain for all parades scheduled, with a good chance of showers and storms through the day. More storms are expected Monday night into Tuesday as low pressure scoots along along a stalled front. There's the potential for torrential downpours plus some of these storms could reach severe limits.  For now, the forecast for Monday and Tuesday present very stormy conditions.  We will continue to fine tune the forecast as Fat Tuesday gets closer.
