WEATHER SUMMARY
A major temperature swing is about to be underway as an Arctic Blast is poised to pour into our region this weekend. Partly cloudy skies can be expected today with highs not quite reaching the 60 degree mark. The cold outbreak begins tomorrow morning with wake up temps in the mid 30s in town, around freezing north of town with mid to upper 30s south of I-10.
It'll be a blusterly and raw Saturday with brisk northwest winds. Additional cloud cover will prevent temps from making it out of the 50s. The coldest morning will be Sunday as temps tumble into the upper 20s. Don't forget about the 3 P's, the pipes, pets, and plants. Sunday's afternoon readings will still be unseasonably cool in the mid 50s.
Moderating temps are in the forecast next week. By Monday, highs bounce back around 60. Clouds will increase Monday night and Tuesday with a chance of showers during the day.
