If you enjoyed Tuesday, then Wednesday will be even better. After a chilly night tonight, skies will be sunny again Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 60s. After tomorrow, temperatures get colder through the weekend. A strong cold front of arctic origin will plunge into the area Thursday, sending temperatures downward. Highs will reach around 60 on Thursday, then not get out of the 50s Friday into the weekend. The coldest air will arrive Saturday and Sunday with low to mid 50s. Low temperatures Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning will be near or below freezing, with the coldest mornings occurring Sunday and Monday morning with 20s likely north of I-10.
Warmer weather arrives early next week ahead of the next cold front. This front will bring another round of below average temperatures toward the middle to end of NEXT week. All indications are, this pattern of cooler than average weather will continue through at least the first week of March.
