Sunny skies will continue through the weekend as quiet weather continues across the Gulf Coast. A dry cold front that moved through the area Wednesday will bring colder temperatures tonight. Lows will drop well into the 30s north of I-10, with the coldest temperatures near Hwy 84. Highs Thursday afternoon will reach the lower 60s. The warm-up begins Friday. Temperatures will rebound into the mid 70s under sunny skies.

This weekend will feature even warmer weather, with sun and clouds and highs pushing 80 in some areas Saturday and Sunday. A cold front will drop into the area early next week, bringing a slight chance of rain on Tuesday, but overall, rain chances will be slim to none for the next 7 days.
