Sunny and warmer weather is on the way. Tonight will be another cool night with lows in the 30s and 40s. The big warm-up begins Friday with highs into the low to mid 70s by afternoon. Even warmer weather is expected this weekend as humidity levels continue to increase across the region. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Some areas inland could reach 80 Sunday or Monday.
A cold front will drop into the area late Monday into Tuesday bringing a chance of showers and storms. At this time, the chance for rain doesn't look very high, but a few storms cannot be ruled out Monday night into Tuesday morning. Slightly cooler weather returns Wednesday with sunshine....with a warm-up by Thursday and Friday.
