WEATHER SUMMARY
An Arctic blast is on the way! It's set to move into the region this weekend! This will be some of the coldest air we've had this Winter. It'll be slightly cooler today with daytime highs hovering around 60. Temps begin to dive overnight, as lows slip into the upper 30s.
We wrap up the workweek in the 50s tomorrow afternoon and keep the status quo for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning we may see a little wintery mix of flurries and drizzle north of I-10, no accumulation expected. Wake up readings will turn much colder, with the most frigid starts on Sunday and Monday. Cover any tender vegetation and don't forget to let the outdoor pets spend the night inside.
Lows will drop to 30 Sunday morning with upper 20s Monday morning, and mid 20s are possible across the inland fringes of our viewing area. Moderating temps are in the forecast by next Tuesday with highs flirting with 70.
