WEATHER SUMMARY

Sunny skies will prevail on this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday with maximum temps averaging in the mid 60s.  Overnight lows will drop into the mid 30s, we could see some areas north of town fall to freezing.  A cold front is set to swing through the area tomorrow cutting our highs down about 10 degrees with much cooler afternoon readings in the mid 50s.  The big chill arrives Wednesday morning with lows in the upper 20s.  It'll only be a glancing blow at colder temps, we'll see the numbers modify quickly Wednesday afternoon as highs rise to 60.

By Thursday, the mercury climbs even higher as daytime highs reach the upper 60s with some areas flirting with 70.  Showers and storms are expected to turn numerous as a second front marches through the region on Friday.  Good news is drier and cooler weather is in store for this weekend.
