Cold rain that plagued the area through most of the day Wednesday will begin moving out tonight. Skies will clear with plenty of sunshine for Valentine's Day and Friday. Temperatures will fall into the 30s and 40s tonight, with highs in the low 60s Thursday and Mid to upper 60s Friday. Another stronger cold front will move through the area on Friday evening. This front will bring MUCH cooler weather for the first part of the weekend. Saturday, highs will not get out of the 50s with lows by Sunday morning well into the 20s inland to the mid/upper 30s near the coast. Highs Sunday will reach the low 60s.

The progressive weather pattern will continue into next week, with yet another storm system poised to bring rain to the area. This time, it appears the best chance of rain will occur late Monday into Tuesday, followed by another period of cooler, drier weather for the middle of next week. Temperatures will rebound to near 70 on Monday then cool back to the 60s for Tuesday and Wednesday.
