A cold front will move into our area on Monday. Showers and some storms will be possible ahead of & along the front, and some of the those storms could be strong to severe. So, the Storm Prediction Center has put our area under the Slight Risk Zone for severe weather. This won't be a major severe event, but damaging wind, hail, and isolated tornadoes aren't ruled out (mainly Monday afternoon). Therefore, stay weather aware. Highs for Monday will remain above average with upper 70s expected (maybe even some low 80s if enough sunshine is available).
The front crosses by Monday night, then slightly cooler air will move in for Tuesday. A reinforcing shot of cooler air will keep Wednesday into the 60s..which is the 1st Day of Spring! Showers could be added to forecast for Wednesday...stay tuned.
Rain chances ramp up again by the end of the week as an area of Low pressure is expected to move across our area. Pending on the track of this Low, a lot of rainfall is possible. We'll keep watching it and keep you posted.
