Joe Cain Sunday, a cold front moves into our area. As it does, showers & storms will erupt out ahead of it...and some could be strong to severe.  The rain threat is less in the morning...only isolated chances. By midday, a few more showers are possible with increasing rain/storm coverage as we move into the late afternoon & evening.  Highs for Sunday will reach the upper 60s near 70 degrees.

Monday, the cold front will move just south of the Gulf Coast & stall. So, Monday morning's rain coverage will be higher than Monday afternoon. Yet, throughout the day...keep an umbrella handy.

Fat Tuesday, the previously mentioned stalled front will move back north as a warm front in the morning.  That's going to put us in what's called the "Warm Sector" where the atmosphere will be prime for plentiful showers & storms (some could be severe).  Heavy rainfall is also possible...with 2-3 inches possible.

The front will cross by Wednesday morning, with dry weather returning thru the end of the week. Colder weather also moves in...with 30s by Friday morning.
