High pressure is in control for today. This will lead to rain-free weather & more sunshine, but it'll remain on the cooler side as a North wind continues to blow dry/cool air our way. After a cold start, temps will warm into the mid 50s. Tonight, it'll be another chilly one with lows dropping into the upper 30s.
This weekend, an area of low pressure will develop in the central Gulf ahead of an upper low that's moving east out of the Southern Rockies. The core of that system will stay to our south; however, we'll get the northern most extent of the rain affilated with that low. So, isolated showers are possible by Saturday afternoon...with some lingering stray showers thru Sunday morning. The rain should be out of our area by the kick-off of the GoDaddy.com Bowl. Highs for the weekend will be near 60 degrees each afternoon.
Next week, we're watching a storm system that'll be moving our way Tuesday thru Wednesday. It looks like a stronger system; so, we'll be monitoring the risk for severe weather. Stay Tuned...
Enjoy your Friday, and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
