WEATHER SUMMARY

After a foggy start skies will continue to improve as the afternoon wears on!  The sun rays will warm us today into the low 70s.  The weather will be partly cloudy and comfy as the Mystics of Ashland place let the good times roll in Downtown Mobile this evening at 6:30pm.  We're not ruling out a stray sprinkle.

The next round of rain arrives overnight, with a large part of our viewing area set to receive heavy amounts of rain for Thursday.  Check the windshield wipers today, because you'll need them in good working order especially tomorrow morning.  The rain tapers off some later in the day, so we're keeping our fingers crossed there will be a break by the time the Mystic Stripers roll at 6:30pm.  At this point, you will need the umbrellas.

The wet weather moves out by early Friday with dry weather coming in Friday into the weekend.  Wall to wall highs get cranked up even further on Saturday and on Joe Cain Sunday.  Lundi Gras looks dry, but with storm system poised to plow through the region on Fat Tuesday, at this point there's a good chance the parades will be affected by pouring rain. However, there is still plenty of time for change and we'll continue to fine tune the forecast as Fat Tuesday gets closer.
