The forecast for the weekend looks fantastic. Sunny skies and highs in the 70s will be the rule through the weekend. Some areas inland could approach 80, especially on Sunday afternoon. No rain is expected, but a few clouds will pass by from time to time. The next chance for rain arrives Monday as a cold front approaches. Rain chances will be on the low end of the scale during the day Monday (30%) continuing through Tuesday morning.
The active weather pattern continues through most of next week, with another storm system expected to track toward the area by the end of the week, bringing more chances for showers and storms Thursday and Friday. Temperatures through the period will remain warm, mainly in the 70s by day and 50s at night. The warmest morning will be Sunday morning ahead of the cold front, where temps will bottom out into the 60s, and the coolest morning will behind the front Wednesday morning, when widespread 40s are expected.
