A warm/muggy atmosphere continues to swallow up the Gulf Coast.  This pattern won't change thru Sunday; so, you have a few days left to enjoy the warm temperatures.  Highs today will reach the mid 70s with mainly cloudy skies.  Gulf moisture continues to stream in on an East/SE wind...and some isolated showers have been moving towards the coast. So, a stray shower isn't ruled out for our coastal areas.

A change in the pattern takes place on Monday.  A cold front will cross the area by the afternoon, and it will bring scattered showers & storms. Behind the front, temps will take a nose dive...with 50s for Highs by Tuesday.  The morning chill will also return as 30s are expected by Wednesday morning.

So, enjoy today and your weekend!

Take Care,
Meteorologist Deitra Tate
