MPD: More than 50,000 Revelers at Order of Inca Parade

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI)   The Order of Inca paraded through downtown Mobile Friday night, and thousands of revelers were on hand to greet them.

A crowd of about 53,510 were in attendance.

Mobile Police responded to 12 complaints during the event.

Officers made 11 misdemeanor arrests.

No juveniles were arrested.

More charges are as follows:

•1 adult for Public Lewdness
•1 adult for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree
•1 adult on active Warrants
•1 adult for Disorderly Conduct
•1 adult for Minor in Possession of Alcohol
•6 adults for Public Intoxication


Eight tickets were written for crossing barricades.

11 vehicles were towed and 13 parking citations were issued.
